Our Beliefs
We believe in a Personal, Holy God Who is the Creator of Heaven and Earth.
We believe in the Trinity; that God exists eternally in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe that the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, is verbally inspired by God, is without error, and is a complete revelation of His will for the salvation of humanity. It has the right to command our beliefs and actions.
We believe in the Lostness of Man; that all men are by nature sinners, rebels against God, and are separated from the life of God.
We believe that Salvation is found in Jesus Christ alone, and that He is true God and true man. We believe that He died on the cross, the Just for the unjust, as a sacrifice for sin. We believe that He arose from the dead so that men might be pardoned from sin and brought into a right relationship with God. We believe that He is now at the right hand of the Father on high as our great High Priest.
We believe in Salvation by Grace through Repentance and Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, and that all who believe in Him and confess Him as Lord are pardoned from sin and come into a right relationship with God.
We believe in Universality of Atonement; that God through Jesus Christ has made salvation available to all people.
We believe that all people are Accountable to God and that those who reject God are without excuse.
We believe that each believer is to live a Holy Life.
We believe that the Church, as the body of Christ, the covenantal community consisting of the citizens of the kingdom of God, is the primary instrument through which God accomplishes His purposes on earth today.
We believe that God has called His people to be people marked by love and that they are to be filled with the love of God and that they are to be energized through the fullness of God’s presence within.
We believe that every Christian must be steadfast and continue in the faith and grow in grace and the knowledge of Christ being kept by the power of God.
We believe that Jesus Christ shall return to judge the world and that there shall be a bodily resurrection of the just and of the unjust; for the former, a resurrection unto everlasting life; for the latter, a resurrection unto eternal judgment. We believe that those who are in a right relationship with God shall dwell with Him forever and share in His glory.
